Call for Applications: Training of Trainers (ToT), Youth Fund Program

Eurasia Partnership Foundation’s (EPF) mission is to empower people to effect change for social justice and economic prosperity through hands-on programs, helping them to improve their communities and their own lives. EPF is the legacy institution of Eurasia Foundation, a privately managed nonprofit organization established in 1992 to deliver seed capital to emerging civil society organizations in the former Soviet countries.

Eurasia Partnership Foundation, in the framework of Youth Fund Program, organizes Training of Trainers (ToT). Successful participants of the training will be engaged into Youth Fund Program as peer-to-peer trainers.

The main goal of the training is to introduce the participants to:

• new skills, knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the Youth Bank, first established by applying Northern Ireland approach and model;
• peer leadership responsibilities and tasks in grant-making;
• practical, participatory and useful approach to learning, which will lead to confident, inspired, and committed young grant-makers to fulfill their pivotal role within Youth Fund, accessory of Youth Bank Northern Ireland in Azerbaijan;
• the future work of Youth Fund in communities of Azerbaijan.

The training for young leaders will be held in Azerbaijan on October 17 – 22, 2011.

 Letter of Interest (Please, describe, why you are interested to attend the training)
 Detailed description of the trainers’ qualifications, including CVs and description of the most recent trainings conducted.

Special requirements for the applicants:
 The applicants should be ages between 18-30
 The applicants should fluently speak Azerbaijani and/or English.
 The applicants should have some experience in facilitation.

Please, indicate “YF: Participation in the training” in the subject line of your email. Questions about the announcement may be directed to Ms. Rena Abdullayeva, EPF’s Youth Program Assistant. The applications must be submitted in the Azerbaijani or English languages. The deadline for applications is extended till October 10, 2011, 6:00pm Baku time.
