Eurasia Partnership Foundation Announces a Vacancy for a Native English Editor Position

Eurasia Partnership Foundation’s (EPF) mission is to empower people to effect change for social justice and economic prosperity through hands-on programs, helping them to improve their communities and their own lives. With locally registered office in Azerbaijan, EPF is the legacy institution of Eurasia Foundation (EF), a privately managed non-profit organization established in 1992 to deliver seed capital to emerging civil society organizations in the former Soviet countries.

EPF seeks to recruit a native speaker of English for editing tasks.

Job Description

The job entails revising e-mails, reports, correspondence etc., all directly drafted in English by Azerbaijani authors. All English texts need to undergo a final check on vocabulary, style, consistency and orthography. The task should also involve taking care of overall linguistic and stylistic consistency across all communications.

Requirements

• Native speakers of English
• Creative writing skills with attention to detail
• Proven expertise/experience in editing
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and use of the Internet
• Flexible with time, as long as edited documents are received on time
• Flexible with the location, as long as the editor is responsive to emails and phone calls.

Salary

Negotiable, also depending on experience
