Overview: We are surrounded by social research. Social inquiryis about finding questions to our answers in a social world using systematic research methods. This course will introduce you to the field of social research. We will explore the two basic approaches to social inquiry: quantitative research and qualitative research.Every piece of research needs to answer to some research questions. We will explore when and how research questions are expressed in hypotheses, how variables are defined and how all these are related to the theory underlying the research.
Trainer: Elnur Asgarli earned his Bachelor’s degree in International Economic Relations from Azerbaijan State Economic University in 1999 and Master’s degree in Economics (graduated with honors) from the University of Sydney, Australia in 2003.Mr. Asgarli is doing an online course of Doctoral Management in Organizational Leadership degree at the University of Phoenix, USA.
