StatoilHydro and EPF continue to support Institutional development of municipalities in Azerbaijan

In April 2008, EPF began the implementation of the “Transparency in Municipal Service Delivery” program, with the financial support of StatoilHydro. The goal of the program is to strengthen the institutional capacity of municipalities and improve their transparent practices. As a result of this program 854 individuals participated in twenty public hearings held by municipalities. As well as this some municipalities also published their budgets in local newspapers.
